FamilyMart × Shohei Ohtani Collaboration Rice Ball "Big Rice Ball: My Ume Okaka" On sale starting Tuesday, July 1.

Starting July 1, 2025 (Tuesday), FamilyMart will release a special rice ball using Shohei Ohtani’s favorite ingredients — pickled plum (ume) and bonito flakes (okaka) — called “Big Rice Ball: My Ume & Okaka,” featuring special packaging with Shohei Ohtani. It will be available at approximately 16,300 FamilyMart stores nationwide.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the “Smile Omusubi Project,” a social contribution initiative for children. This includes donations to Musubie, a certified non-profit organization that supports children's cafeterias across Japan, as well as providing rice balls to students involved in extracurricular activities such as baseball, supporting their efforts.
