ITO EN “Oi Ocha” Global Ambassador Contract
On April 30, 2024, ITO EN’s “Oi Ocha” signs a global partnership with Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Full-page advertisements in over 60 newspapers worldwide, celebrating this new partnership and featuring a heartfelt open letter to Ohtani. Ohtani commented: ”I have been a big fan of ‘Oi Ocha’ since my time in Japan, and it has remained an important companion to me even in my life in America."

Starting with Iwate, Ohtani's hometown, the ads appear in Times Square in New York, Hollywood, Tokyo, Seoul, and Taipei. At Shibuya and Nagoya stations, “Ohtani's new haiku,” which became a buzz because of the ads, appears as giant columns. Ohtani’s statement on becoming “Oi Ocha Global Ambassador" released in the ads.
