Global promotion for [AiR] with Shohei Otani a two-way player
The long-established bedding company – NISHIKAWA Co. Ltd launched a promotion campaign with professional baseball player Shohei Otani, who is known as a “two-way” player and at the time was playing for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. NISHIKAWA agreed to support Shohei’s sleep condition with the "AiR" mattress. We conducted promotion alongside the excitement before the start of the professional baseball season in 2017. And in 2018 we advertised utilising the success that Shohei had in the Major League Baseball.
2023
In 2023, Shohei Ohtani again received the MLB's MVP award and entered the seventh year of his contract with Nishikawa.
Various promotional measures were implemented, including a campaign to give away "Nishikawa x Shohei Ohtani goods" such as life-size towels and Shohei Ohtani cushions.

Shohei Ohtani, who won the 2021 MVP award in MLB with an unusually unanimous vote, continues his "Sleep Conditioning Support Contract" in 2022.

2018
A promotion campaign for the “AIR” mattress launched when Shohei Otani transferred to Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball. Backing Shohei’s condition by supporting his sleep with the “AIR” mattress, to help him compete in the Major League Baseball. We created a stronger relationship with Shohei, and he was able to successfully continue promoting the attractiveness of the “AIR” mattress in not only Japan, but around the world.
2017
We started the promotion from when Shohei Otani was playing for Hokkaio Nippon-Ham Fighters and were able to successfully get the message out on the attractivenes of "AIR" mattress by Shohei's power to convince people on the perspective of supporting his condition from sleep.
