Mao Asada was appointed as the icon for the branding and advertising promotion of Kirala, a water server brand developed by MTG Corporation. The launch promotion was timed to coincide with her retirement and achieved overwhelming PR benefits. The branding of Kirala as "the best water server" chosen carefully by Mao Asada, a top-class athlete, was also a success.
